SF2111 Summary

• Amends Minnesota Statutes section 84.66, subdivision 7, to allow landowners to convey easements with preexisting easements acceptable to the commissioner, modifying requirements for state land program enrollment.

• Adds land parcels to Frontenac State Park (Goodhue County), William O'Brien State Park (Washington County), and Riverlands State Forest (St. Louis County).

• Authorizes the commissioner of natural resources to sell surplus state lands bordering public water in Aitkin, Becker, Crow Wing, Kandiyohi, and Sherburne counties by private or public sale.

• Permits Itasca, Koochiching, and St. Louis counties to sell tax-forfeited lands by private sale, including multiple parcels in Duluth for structure encroachment resolution and Mission Creek Cemetery expansion.

• Sections 11-18 become effective the day following final enactment.
