Authorizes additional long-term facilities maintenance revenue for school districts operating buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, equal to a specified dollar amount times the district's adjusted pupil units beginning in fiscal year 2024.

Adds heating, ventilation, air conditioning projects and other remodeling projects specifically related to maintaining the historic nature of facilities on the National Register as an allowed use of long-term facilities maintenance revenue.

Clarifies that remodeling of existing facilities is prohibited except for those on the National Register of Historic Places, which are permitted under the new authority.

Appropriates unspecified amounts from the general fund to the Department of Education for fiscal years 2024 and 2025 to support the additional long-term facilities maintenance revenue.

Changes are effective for revenue in fiscal year 2024 and later.
