SF3057 - Licensed School Teacher Salary Increases

• Commissioner of education must allocate sufficient revenue to school districts to increase salaries of licensed school teachers by $10,000 during the 2024-2025 school year
• For part-time teachers with full-time equivalent less than 1.0, the $10,000 increase must be prorated based on their contract fraction
• The additional salary amount must be added to the base salary of each licensed school teacher
• Appropriations from the general fund to the commissioner of education are designated for fiscal years 2024 and 2025 (amounts to be specified)
• Section 1 effective the day following final enactment; appropriations section effective July 1, 2023
