Requires the Metropolitan Council to ensure bus operators receive training on assisting persons with disabilities and mobility limitations to enter and exit vehicles

Training must cover assistance in situations where regular vehicle access is unsafe due to snow, ice, or other obstructions

Applies to vehicle operators employed by the Metropolitan Council or replacement service providers

Requires the Metropolitan Council to consult with the Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee on the training content

Effective the day following final enactment and applies in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties
