Expands doxing crime protections to include election officials and their family or household members, in addition to existing law enforcement official protections.

Defines "personal information" as home telephone numbers, cell numbers, personal email addresses, names of minor children, photographs of minor children, home addresses, directions to homes, or photographs of homes.

Makes it a misdemeanor to knowingly make personal information publicly available without consent if it poses an imminent and serious threat to safety and the person knows or reasonably should know of the threat.

Elevates violation to a gross misdemeanor if the official or family member suffers great bodily harm or death, or upon conviction of a second or subsequent violation.

Effective date is August 1, 2024, and applies to crimes committed on or after that date.
