Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund to the Department of Education in fiscal year 2025 for a grant to Girl Scouts River Valleys as fiscal agent for Girl Scouts councils' community engagement programs.

Grant funds must support community engagement programs for underserved communities and girls facing systemic barriers in kindergarten through grade 12, including programming on healthy relationships, science and math, financial literacy, college and career readiness, and leadership development.

Grantee must submit a report by February 1, 2026 to the commissioner of education and relevant legislative committee chairs detailing program expenditures, outcomes, participant demographics, positive social and emotional health benefits, and participant beliefs about high school graduation and postsecondary enrollment.

This is a onetime appropriation.
