Allocates $80,000 each year to hire or partner with a qualified individual to provide high school diploma or GED instruction for jail inmates

Allocates $3,000 each year for licensing fees for course workbooks on anger management, cognitive awareness empowerment, personal responsibility, and parenting for jail inmates

Allocates $16,000 in fiscal year 2024 to purchase two virtual reality machines for workforce training in construction, electrical, and plumbing trades for jail inmates

Requires the Hennepin County sheriff to submit an annual report by June 30 detailing grant usage, accomplishments, lessons learned, and best practice recommendations
