Licensed traditional midwives may obtain, possess, and administer vitamin K (oral or intramuscular), maternal RhoGAM treatment, postpartum antihemorrhagic drugs in emergency situations, local anesthetic, oxygen, and prophylactic eye agent for newborns.

Licensed traditional midwives remain prohibited from prescribing, dispensing, or administering prescription drugs except those specified in the bill.

Licensed traditional midwives may perform suture repair of first- or second-degree perineal lacerations but cannot perform other operative or surgical procedures.

Licensed traditional midwives are authorized to directly obtain supplies and devices, order diagnostic tests, and receive test reports as necessary for midwifery practice.

Both amendments become effective the day following final enactment.
