County auditors must establish an additional polling place on a postsecondary institution's campus for the state general election upon request by the institution or its student government organization.

The polling place must operate for at least one day at a publicly accessible location agreed upon by both the institution and county auditor.

Requests for campus polling places must be submitted to the county auditor no later than May 31 in the year of the election.

The requirement applies only to postsecondary institutions with undergraduate enrollment of at least 1,500 students (including full-time and part-time).

Campus polling places do not apply to institutions where students attend courses primarily online or where there is no physical campus for in-person instruction.
