Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund to the Department of Education for a grant to Teach for America - Twin Cities in fiscal year 2025.

Grant funds must support recruitment, training, and placement of new prospective teachers in the state.

Grant funds must support recruitment and placement of experienced teachers and school/system leaders, and assist local education agencies with talent planning for instructional and leadership vacancies.

Grant funds must support professional development and retention of diverse and equity-oriented educators.

Appropriation is available until June 30, 2026, and the section is effective July 1, 2024.
