Amends Minnesota Statutes section 353.031, subdivision 8, to add licensed marriage and family therapists as qualified professionals who can certify disability for mental impairment during reapplication for disability benefits.

Licensed marriage and family therapists licensed under sections 148B.29 to 148B.392 are now authorized to provide written expert reports for disability reapplication, joining licensed physicians, APRNs, chiropractors, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

Maintains existing reapplication requirements: yearly for the first five years of disability payments and every three years thereafter, with proof of disability required from the executive director.

Effective the day following final enactment.
