S.F. No. 4191 Summary

• Amends Minnesota Statutes section 144G.30, subdivision 5, to modify requirements for assisted living facility compliance with correction orders issued by the commissioner of health.

• Requires facilities to post or otherwise make available the most recent plan of correction in a manner or location readily accessible to residents and others.

• Mandates facilities provide a copy of their most recent plan of correction to any individual who requests it within 30 days, in a format determined by the facility with reasonable accommodations for alternative formats upon request.

• Effective August 1, 2024, and applies to all correction orders issued on or after that date.
