Modifies the definition of "metropolitan area" in section 297A.9915 to reference section 473.121, subdivision 2, instead of listing specific counties (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington).

Changes the definition of "metropolitan county area" in section 297A.9925 to reference section 473.121, subdivision 4, instead of subdivision 2.

Updates references in the metropolitan sales tax imposition rate section from "metropolitan counties" to "metropolitan counties area" for consistency with the revised definitions.

All changes are effective for sales and purchases made after June 30, 2024.
