For fiscal year 2024, compensatory education revenue equals the formula allowance minus $839 multiplied by compensation revenue pupil units, with revenue paid to districts and allocated according to section 126C.15, subdivision 2.

For fiscal year 2025, compensatory revenue must be calculated under Laws 2023, chapter 18, section 3.

For fiscal year 2026 and later, compensatory education revenue for each building equals its compensatory pupils multiplied by the building compensatory allowance.

For fiscal year 2026, if statewide revenue falls below $838,947,000, the commissioner must proportionately provide additional revenue to each building until reaching that threshold.

For fiscal year 2027 and later, if statewide revenue falls below $857,152,000, the commissioner must proportionately provide additional revenue to each building until reaching that threshold.
