Establishes a "Share the Road" special license plate available to registered owners of passenger automobiles, noncommercial one-ton pickup trucks, motorcycles, and recreational motor vehicles.

Requires plate applicants to pay the standard special plate fee, registration tax, and contribute a minimum of $40 annually to the active transportation account.

The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota must design the special plate in consultation with the commissioner, featuring "Share the Road" inscription between the bolt holes on the bottom with a design area on the left side.

Special plates may be transferred to another qualified vehicle registered to the same individual upon application and payment of a $5 transfer fee.

Annual contributions from plate holders are deposited into the active transportation account in the special revenue fund; effective January 1, 2025.
