SF 4475 - Construction Materials Special Permit

• Expands the definition of "road construction materials" to include bulk materials delivered directly to a plant or production facility, in addition to existing materials like aggregate, hot mix asphalt, concrete, and recycled road materials.

• Authorizes six-axle vehicles to haul road construction materials with gross vehicle weights up to 90,000 pounds, or 99,000 pounds during seasonal periods set by the commissioner.

• Authorizes seven-axle vehicles to haul road construction materials with gross vehicle weights up to 97,000 pounds, or 99,000 pounds during seasonal periods set by the commissioner.

• Sets annual permit fees at $300 for six-axle vehicles and $500 for seven-axle vehicles, with proportional amounts available based on permit duration.
