Amends Minnesota Statutes 2023 Supplement, section 124D.901, subdivision 4 to expand allowable uses of student support personnel aid.

Changes language from "must be used" to "may be used" to allow flexibility in hiring new positions, increasing current positions less than 1.0 full-time equivalent, making permanent positions hired with federal pandemic relief funds, or maintaining positions that would otherwise be eliminated.

Requires cooperative student support personnel aid to be transferred to intermediate districts or cooperative units and allows it to be used for the same hiring and position purposes.

Allows school districts, charter schools, or cooperative units that receive fewer than two applications to use aid for contracted services from individuals licensed as school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, school nurses, or chemical dependency counselors.

Takes effect for revenue in fiscal year 2024 and later.
