Adds historic school building preservation costs to the calculation of long-term facilities maintenance revenue that school districts can receive under Minnesota Statutes section 123B.595.

Defines "historic school building" as a building currently serving elementary or secondary students and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of January 1, 2024.

Authorizes the commissioner to approve additional costs for historic school building preservation and maintenance plans, with costs capped at $200,000 per year for each qualifying building.

Makes the provisions effective for revenue in fiscal year 2026 and later.

Preserves eligibility for school districts that qualified for certain funding under 2014 statutes for fiscal year 2010 to continue receiving funding under the updated provisions.
