Authorizes $500,000 in grants for fiscal year 2024 and $500,000 for fiscal year 2025 to school districts, charter schools, and cooperative units to offer emergency medical services courses approved by the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board.

School districts, charter schools, and cooperative units may use grant funds for teacher salaries, transportation, equipment costs, emergency medical technician certification test fees, and student background checks.

Grant recipients may partner with postsecondary institutions, health systems, hospitals, ambulance services, and other entities with emergency medical services expertise to offer courses.

Commissioner must award at least 50 percent of grant funds to applicants outside the seven-county metropolitan area and 30 percent to applicants with high concentrations of students of color.

Allocates an unspecified amount from fiscal year 2025 funds to Independent School District No. 742 in St. Cloud for design, construction, and remodeling costs for an emergency medical services education facility.
