Appropriates $300,000 in fiscal year 2025 from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the Minnesota Historical Society for competitive grants to cultural, historical, and veterans organizations commemorating 50 years of Southeast Asians in Minnesota.

Appropriates $200,000 in fiscal year 2025 from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the Minnesota Historical Society to prepare and coordinate community commemoration programs celebrating 50 years of Hmong Americans in Minnesota and the October 1975 arrival of the first Hmong family.

Requires the Minnesota Historical Society to administer grants using established grant mechanisms with assistance from the Southeast Asian advisory committee created under Laws 2009, chapter 172, article 4.

Both appropriations are available for expenditure until June 30, 2026.
