Memorializes the Government of Israel to defend its citizens and promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect between Israelis and Palestinians following the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack.

Stands with Israel in defending itself against Hamas, affirms Israel's obligation to defend its citizens, and mourns over 1,400 Israelis and 30-plus Americans killed in the conflict.

Calls on Hamas leadership to immediately release all living hostages, return deceased hostages, and leave Gaza to allow both Israeli and Palestinian peoples to have a better future.

Condemns Iran's support for terrorist groups including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and the Houthi rebels, and urges full enforcement of Minnesota's existing sanctions statute against Iran's Revolutionary Guard.

Directs the Secretary of State to prepare and transmit copies of this resolution to the Government of Israel and applauds efforts to bolster peaceful coexistence based on a two-state solution between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea.
