Appropriates $500,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for relocation grants to community butcher shops.

Grants are a one-time appropriation for costs associated with relocating community butcher shops.

Eligible butcher shops must serve residents and families in census tracts where 50 percent or more of the population is persons of color, or 25 percent or more of households have income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Relocation must be undertaken as a result of reducing the environmental impact of the city business.
