$600,000 appropriated in fiscal year 2025 from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for transfer to Metropolitan State University.

Funding designated for contracting with a cyber range vendor to provide cyber range services to enrolled students and state and local government agencies.

Cyber range services intended to develop advanced cybersecurity expertise and enable participants to counter and thwart cyberattacks through an isolated, interactive, and controlled virtual environment.

One-time appropriation available through June 30, 2027.
