Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 326B.89, subdivision 1 to expand the definition of "residential real estate" covered under the contractor recovery fund.

Adds private residential pools connected with residential real estate to the definition of residential real estate, provided the pools are controlled and used by the owner, owner's family, or invited guests and are not used as part of a business.

Maintains existing coverage of one to four family buildings and detached garages intended for vehicle storage associated with residential real estate.

Clarifies that "Owner" excludes real estate developers and any owner using or intending to use the property for business purposes rather than owner-occupied residential real estate.
