Authorizes municipalities to request that county canvassing boards conduct postelection reviews of up to twice as many precincts as otherwise required by law.

Allows municipalities to designate which additional precincts are reviewed, or allows random selection by lot if the municipality does not specify.

Requires municipalities requesting additional precinct reviews to submit their request in writing before the election canvass and to reimburse the county for costs attributable to the additional reviews.

Maintains existing postelection review requirements: counties with fewer than 50,000 registered voters must review at least 2 precincts; counties with 50,000-100,000 voters must review at least 3 precincts; counties with over 100,000 voters must review at least 4 precincts or 3% of total precincts, whichever is greater.

Requires at least one selected precinct in each county to have had more than 150 votes cast at the general election, and requires the secretary of state to ensure at least 4 precincts are selected in each congressional district.
