Appropriates $225,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $225,000 in fiscal year 2025 from the workforce development fund to the commissioner of labor and industry.

Grants money directed to Building Strong Communities for the Helmets to Hard Hats Minnesota initiative to support military members' and veterans' participation in registered apprenticeship programs.

Grant funds must recruit, retain, assist, and support National Guard, reserve, and active duty military members and veterans in career training and employment in the building and construction industry.

Requires recruitment, selection, employment, and training to occur without discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, receipt of public assistance, or age.
