Congratulates the Thai Minnesotan community and organizers of the Minnesota Songkran Festival hosted by Wat Promwachirayan of Saint Louis Park at the Minnesota State Capitol grounds on May 18, 2024.

Recognizes the Songkran Festival celebration as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and traditions integral to diverse Minnesotan identities.

Extends gratitude to the Most Venerable Somdej Phramahathirachan, member of Thailand's Sangha Supreme Council and abbot of a royal temple in Bangkok, for leading important rituals during the festival.

Acknowledges the Most Venerable Somdej Phramahathirachan's dedication, wisdom, and compassionate leadership in guiding the Thai Minnesotan community in observance of the festival.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota.
