Recognizes Cherpheng Thao for his 34-year career as a public school math and social studies teacher and his work as a refugee case manager for 9 years.

Honors his leadership at the Hmong Cultural Center from 1994 to 2015, where he served as secretary and president and established cultural education, English classes, and citizenship classes.

Acknowledges his role as a community leader for the Thao clan and his commitment to education, evidenced by all eight of his children completing higher education including one with a PhD and seven with bachelor's degrees.

Commends his 40+ years of dedication to providing quality cultural education to thousands of children and preserving Hmong culture for the community.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Cherpheng Thao.
