Honors Tessa Johnson, a 2023 graduate of St. Michael-Albertsville High School in Minnesota, who was named Minnesota's Miss Basketball and a McDonald's All-American in her senior year.

Recognizes Johnson's performance in the April 7, 2024 NCAA championship game in Cleveland, where she scored a career-high 19 points to help lead the University of South Carolina to an 87-75 victory over Iowa.

Acknowledges Johnson as the first college freshman since 2013 to lead her team in scoring during a championship game.

Celebrates the University of South Carolina women's basketball team's perfect 38-0 season record and their third national championship title in program history, with a 109-3 record over the last three seasons.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an enrolled copy of the resolution to Tessa Johnson.
