Extends foreclosure sale postponement rights that currently apply to foreclosure by advertisement (Chapter 580) to also cover judicial foreclosures by action (Chapter 581)

Requires mortgagees postponing a foreclosure sale to publish one notice and mail notice to occupants within three business days, including the rescheduled sale date and vacate deadline of 11:59 p.m.

Allows mortgagors or owners of homestead properties with 1-4 dwelling units to postpone sales by 5 months (for 6-month redemption periods) or 11 months (for 12-month redemption periods), which automatically reduces their redemption period to 5 weeks

Preserves the shortened 5-week redemption period election even if a federal bankruptcy automatic stay temporarily interrupts the foreclosure process

Effective August 1, 2025, for judicial foreclosures with lis pendens recorded on or after that date
