Municipal governing bodies may issue temporary licenses to food trucks for on-sale of intoxicating liquor at community festivals, events, or private catered events

"Food truck" is defined as a business licensed to prepare and sell food from a motorized vehicle or trailer within the municipality

Licensees must obtain liability insurance as prescribed by section 340A.409 and receive approval from the Commissioner of Public Safety before the license is valid

Licenses are subject to municipal terms and fees, with limits on consecutive days and total days per year (specific numbers left blank in the bill text)

Licensees must notify local law enforcement (city police chief or county sheriff) prior to any event where alcohol will be sold
