$15,000,000 base appropriation from the general fund in fiscal year 2027 for ongoing wetland replacement activities

Funds used to acquire land or permanent easements and to restore, create, enhance, and preserve wetlands impacted by repair, reconstruction, replacement, or rehabilitation of existing public roads

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue up to $15,000,000 in state bonds to fund the program

Board may enter agreements with federal government, state agencies, political subdivisions, nonprofits, and private entities to acquire wetland replacement credits under an in-lieu fee agreement approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
