Cities may issue social district licenses to on-sale liquor license holders, allowing customers to consume (but not purchase) alcoholic beverages within designated outdoor social districts adjacent to the licensed premises

Cities must submit a report to legislative liquor regulation committees within 24 months of first issuing a social district license, covering community response, public safety concerns, challenges encountered, and recommendations for modifications
