$15,000,000 appropriated from bond proceeds to the Commissioner of Transportation for a grant to the Minnesota Valley Regional Rail Authority to rehabilitate railroad track between Winthrop and Hanley Falls

Grant funds may be used for environmental documentation and remediation, predesign, design, and rehabilitation or replacement of bridges with new bridges or culverts along the route

A portion of the grant may serve as matching funds to meet federal grant requirements

Commissioner of Management and Budget authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $15,000,000 under Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675

Effective the day following final enactment; appropriation supplements multiple prior appropriations for this project dating back to 2006
