Insurers cannot limit the type, quantity, or purchase frequency of OTC contraceptives, and must provide coverage at the point-of-sale

Medical Assistance (Medicaid) must cover all OTC contraceptives regardless of whether prescribed, expanding existing coverage for prescription contraceptives

The Department of Commerce, working with Health and Human Services, must provide public information about OTC contraception coverage and submit annual reports to the legislature starting March 31, 2027

Effective date is January 1, 2026, applying to health plans offered, issued, or renewed on or after that date
