Repeals Minnesota Statutes sections 325F.02 through 325F.07, which contain fire safety regulations that predate the statewide fire code

Eliminates detailed regulations on match manufacturing, storage, and sale, including restrictions on white phosphorus matches, packaging requirements, and storage height limits in retail stores and warehouses

Removes requirements that public assembly tents (for circuses, carnivals, tent shows, theaters, etc. with 15+ occupants) be made of flame-resistant materials

Eliminates the requirement that tents sold in Minnesota be labeled as "durably flame resistant" and removes associated civil and criminal penalties for violations

Removes the Commissioner of Public Safety's rulemaking authority over flame-resistant tent material standards and labeling requirements
