Appropriates $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 from the general fund to the Commissioner of Employment and Economic Development for a grant to the Hmong Cultural Center of Minnesota, Inc.

Funds will support predesign, design, construction, renovation, furnishing, and equipping of a building in St. Paul to provide programming celebrating Hmong culture and cross-cultural awareness.

Grant recipient is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

Appropriation is onetime and remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Effective the day following final enactment.
