Increases the cap on supportive housing units for homeless adults with disabilities in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area from 226 to 500 units

Removes the requirement that at least 70 percent of supportive housing units serve individuals recently discharged from regional treatment centers, state-contracted psychiatric beds, or residential treatment programs

Requires the Housing Coordinating Board to distribute units to eligible counties, with each county receiving a minimum allocation of 20 units; unused allocations may be reallocated to other counties

Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 to the Commissioner of Human Services for the expansion, including administrative funding for two full-time equivalent employees in recipient counties to process eligibility
