Creates a budget exception process for consumer-directed community supports for individuals who have both a developmental disability and type 1 diabetes documented in their assessment

Applies to participants in home and community-based services waivers under Minnesota Statutes sections 256B.092 and 256B.49

Sets the exception amount at an annualized value equal to 9 hours per day at the current registered nurse home care nursing rate under the applicable waiver program

Effective January 1, 2026, or upon federal approval, whichever is later
