Extends Medical Assistance coverage of audio-only telehealth services (telephone-only consultations) from July 1, 2025 through July 1, 2028

Audio-only communication between health care providers and patients will temporarily qualify as covered telehealth under Minnesota's Medicaid program during this three-year period

Telehealth services continue to be reimbursed at the same rate as in-person visits when medically necessary

Effective date is July 1, 2025 or upon federal approval, whichever is later; the Commissioner of Human Services must notify the revisor of statutes when federal approval is obtained
