Expands Minnesota law protecting residential flag display rights to include four additional flags: the National League of Families POW/MIA flag, flags of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, Blue Star Service flags, and Gold Star Service flags

Renders void and unenforceable any deed restrictions, HOA rules, rental agreements, local ordinances, or covenants that limit display of these protected flags by property owners or tenants

Applies to homeowners association documents including declarations, bylaws, and rules for both common interest communities and other residential communities

Takes effect the day following final enactment and applies retroactively to all existing limitations, regardless of when they were adopted
