Amends Minnesota Statutes section 144G.70 to restructure resident reassessment timelines in assisted living facilities, requiring assessments by a registered nurse within 14 calendar days after services begin, as needed based on resident changes, not to exceed 180 calendar days, and annually

Adds new requirement for focused health status assessments by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, scheduled not to exceed 90 days since the last reassessment, with annual RN assessments able to substitute for 90-day reassessments

Exempts residents not receiving assisted living services from initial nursing assessment requirements

Allows nursing assessments to be conducted via telecommunication when geographic distance or urgent/unexpected circumstances prevent in-person evaluation

Requires facilities to inform prospective residents about long-term care consultation services before contract execution or move-in date
