Removes the prohibition on authorized retailers giving away free samples of cannabis plants, cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower-potency hemp edibles, and hemp-derived consumer products at cannabis events.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 342.40, subdivision 7, by striking the provision that previously banned giveaways at cannabis event sales.

Applies to cannabis microbusinesses, mezzobusinesses, retailers, medical cannabis combination businesses, and lower-potency hemp edible retailers authorized to sell at cannabis events.

Existing restrictions remain in place, including age verification (21+), sales limits, prohibition on sales to visibly intoxicated persons, and ban on vending machine dispensing.
