New motor vehicle dealers may participate in auto shows outside their licensed county up to four times per calendar year without obtaining an additional license

Auto shows must meet specific criteria: held in a first-class city or adjacent city, minimum of 10 participating dealers, maximum duration of 12 consecutive days, and conducted by a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt trade association

Auto shows must prohibit vehicle sales or leases on-site, "For Sale" or "Sold" labels, special dealership pricing materials, and trade-in appraisals

Dealers at auto shows may distribute business cards, coupons, factory rebates, collect customer leads, discuss suggested retail prices, and conduct test drives under show-managed programs

Manufacturers, distributors, and factory branches are prohibited from requiring dealers to refrain from participating in qualifying auto shows
