Establishes an 8-member legislative study group (4 House members, 4 Senators, evenly split between majority and minority parties) to evaluate and recommend changes to graduation credit requirements

Study group must examine current statutory graduation requirements, flexible ways students can demonstrate career/college readiness, teacher licensure requirements affecting course credits, and alignment with Minnesota workforce needs

Appointments must be made by June 15, 2025; first meeting held by July 15, 2025; preliminary report due December 15, 2025; final report due December 31, 2026

Department of Education must cooperate and provide information; Legislative Coordinating Commission provides meeting space, technical support, and staff

Appropriates $128,000 total from the general fund ($64,000 in FY2026 and $64,000 in FY2027) as a one-time appropriation to the Legislative Coordinating Commission
