Board members who serve on more than one charter school board simultaneously are automatically ineligible to continue serving and barred from charter school boards for 24 months

Charter school boards must establish finance committees that meet regularly to review financial health, budgeting, audits, and compliance; schools under financial corrective action must include their authorizer in quarterly finance meetings

Hearings for contract nonrenewal or termination must be live-streamed and recorded, with recordings preserved for three years and made publicly available

Authorizers must publish charter contracts, performance reviews, termination notices, and unresolved corrective actions on their websites for at least five years, and must post annual financial statements detailing authorizing income and expenses
