Changes from permissive ("may") to mandatory ("must") the requirement for school districts and charter schools to allow students in grades 9-12 to possess and administer opiate antagonists (such as naloxone/Narcan)

Students may administer opiate antagonists to other high school students experiencing an opioid overdose

Legal protections under Minnesota Statutes section 604A.04 apply to students who possess or administer opiate antagonists under this provision
