Extends existing candidate access rights to elected officials, allowing them to enter apartment buildings, dormitories, nursing homes, manufactured home parks, and other multiple unit residential facilities within their district

Permits elected officials and candidates to bring staff or volunteers (not just campaign staff) and to leave materials related to official work, not just campaign materials

Defines "elected official" as anyone elected or appointed to federal, statewide, legislative, judicial, or local office (including school districts, towns, and counties), excluding the president, vice president, and presidential electors

Access must be granted for purposes related to official work of the elected official, campaigning, or voter registration, with minimum access hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily

Violation of access denial remains a petty misdemeanor
