Reenacts the 2024 amendment (Laws 2024, chapter 127, article 36, section 2) that modified the definition of "trigger activator" to include binary triggers in Minnesota's ban

Applies retroactively and without interruption from January 1, 2025, addressing any gap in enforcement of the ban

Takes effect the day following final enactment and applies only to crimes committed on or after that date

Addresses public safety by restoring the expanded definition of prohibited trigger activator devices
