Prohibits all business entities (corporations, LLCs, nonprofits, partnerships, trusts, and foreign entities operating in Minnesota) from engaging in election activity or ballot-issue activity, including spending money to support or oppose candidates, political parties, or ballot questions

Revokes all previously granted corporate powers and regrants only powers necessary for lawful business or charitable purposes, explicitly excluding political spending authority, effective August 1, 2026

Exempts registered political funds and committees under state or federal law, which may engage in election and ballot-issue activities if they exist solely for that purpose and claim only limited liability protections

Exempts bona fide news stories, commentary, and editorials from broadcasting stations, newspapers, magazines, blogs, and periodicals, unless owned by a political party, committee, or candidate

Imposes automatic forfeiture of all entity benefits (limited liability, perpetual duration, tax credits) for any entity that engages in prohibited election or ballot-issue activity
